Email & SMS Consent Terms

By creating an account, submitting contact information, or using the Service, you authorize WeReportYourRent and its service providers to send transactional and service-related communications by email, SMS, phone, dashboard notification, or other electronic method. Transactional communications may include verification codes, security alerts, account notices, billing receipts, subscription notices, reporting updates, dispute notices, support replies, policy updates, and service messages.

Where permitted by law and where you opt in, we may send marketing emails or text messages about rent reporting, credit education, product updates, promotions, affiliates, and related services. Consent to marketing communications is not required as a condition of purchase.

If you check the marketing text-message box during signup, or otherwise opt in to marketing texts, you are agreeing that WeReportYourRent and its messaging providers may send you marketing and promotional text messages at the mobile number you provided, including messages delivered using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. You are not required to agree to receive these messages as a condition of signing up, of purchasing any product or service, or of using any part of the Service, and you may decline and still use everything you have paid for. You may withdraw this consent at any time by replying STOP to any marketing text or by turning marketing messages off in your account settings; withdrawing it does not stop transactional, security, billing, or account notices.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Users may opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in the email. Users may opt out of marketing SMS by replying STOP where supported. Users may request help by replying HELP where supported. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional, security, legal, billing, or account-related notices.

We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS consent data. We may share mobile information with messaging providers, security providers, customer-support vendors, and other service providers only as needed to provide and protect the Service, comply with law, or enforce our policies.
